My grandmother used to work here and would walk to the bus stop to catch a bus for work. She lived at 301 north 25th street at the time. I loved visiting her. Loved the St. Johns church. I used to walk there and sit to eat a snack as this had the most grassy area, also was a much safer time. I noticed that there was scratchings in the brick along the bldg. to the entrance and was told that those scratchings came from people waiting in line for a job? Hard to make out all of the scribble, but 1930 was a time scratched there. Just wondering if you have info on the scratching in brick.
