Before And After - Broad Street at 1st - 1985
Today's Before And After comes from August of 1985. Although all the buildings are still intact, there's been lots of changes to the businesses over the last 27 years, and the addition of trees. But Harvey's Progressive Barber Shop still remains, even with the same sign!

On your last post I was surprised the porn shop could last for 30 years. Go on then Harvey's Progressive Barber Shop. I am glad we support more then only porn.

Just found this blog and truly digging the 1985 photo of the GRTC Flxible and newer Grumman buses. Used to ride them down Grove Avenue to the VCU campus when I was in grade school.
ReplyDeleteWow, im amazed that Harveys have'nt changed anything to its outside sign in 28years. And still in business. I like the pic of the old Grtc buses too. Brings back memories.
