Here's a great wide angle shot of Richmond in the early 20th Century from the James River in the distance on the left, all the way around to just east of the State Capitol on the right.

Looks like this was taken from the roof of the Travelers Building on Main St. This would be a good before and after photo.
ReplyDeleteAgreed - would be a tremendous before and after picture combo - wow - a 100 years of growth and Richmond certainly looks like a completely different city! Would love to see the companion pic to this if it's ever taken! :)
