The Boulevard Bridge - March 1970

No EZ Pass here, just your friendly neighborhood toll collector. From March of 1970 comes this great shot of the Nickel Bridge toll booths, back when the toll was actually a nickel.

  3. Late Fall, sun in the East, long shadows, commuters on the go, so just after sunrise...8am ish kinda thing?

  4. AM commute time as two lanes of traffic coming through booths heading to North Side of the River, toward downtown

    1. The reverse happens in the evening commute. 2toll James would be open heading to the south side of the river.
