From roughly the mid 1960s comes this shot of shoppers on Broad Street in front of the entrance to the old Woolworth's store. This corner is now the parking lot/entrance to the Hilton Garden Inn/Miller & Rhoads Condos.
Take a long look at that photo and you'll see the reason why there are no pedestrians there today. Sad, isn't it? It's the plight of many once-great cities in this country.
Hmmnnn, I think I see what you're getting at, but not sure where you're going with it. My guess is it's not good, judging by how vague you're being, and the lack of a name.
Whenever I see bustle photos like this they are so surreal because you'd be lucky to see 100 pedestrians max on strips like this nowadays.

DeleteWoolworth's was great - you could buy anything there and a good grill cheese to boot!
