Bellevue Park - 1907

Here's a great ad from 1907 for lots in Bellevue Park in Northside, now essentially a part of Bellevue. John Pope Ave is listed on this map (now just Pope Ave), as well as Virginia Ave (now Princeton Ave). Also listed is Rosetree Ave. Those familiar with Bellevue know this road doesn't exist today. Anyone know if it was ever built?

  1. There's a school on Hermitage Avenue right about where Rosetree is on this map. If I recall correctly, there's a road (or really kind of a driveway) that starts on Hermitage and goes back into the campus of the school; it looks like it follows Rosetree's path pretty closely. Perhaps Rosetree was build and then turned into a private road once the school was formed.

    1. And by "build" I obviously meant "built," ha ha.
